Sunnyside Community Club To Get New Paint Job
Sunnyside Community Club will be getting a new paint job thanks to a grant from The 1772 Foundation and The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. The 105-year-old former school on Hopewell Church Road was last repainted in 2012.
Gullah-Geechee Program Rescheduled for June 14
The Meriwether Historical Society program on Gullah-Geechee Culture scheduled for May 31st has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 14th, at 2 pm in the Greenville Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Early Voting Begins June 8 for Runoff
Sharita Trice, Chairperson and Elections Supervisor of the Talbot County Board of Elections and Registration, announced the Advanced Voting dates for the General Primary Run-Off Election. Advanced Voting will begin on Monday, June 8 and end on Friday, June 12.
